Day 2 & a fabric purchase

Top: TNT M5436 made in 2009.
Tank Top: JC Penney's $6.00
Jeans: Mossimo for Target $28.00
Necklace: Target $11.00
Sandals: Mossimo for Target $16.00

Total outfit cost:  around $67.00
*Since I made the top in 2009 before I started keeping track of my fabric and what I was spending on it I am not sure how much this top cost me to make.  If I remember correctly this was one of their Red Tag fabrics so it could not have cost more that $5.00.

Speaking of keeping track of fabrics,  I did go to Jo-Ann's today and purchase two pieces.  Not that I had any possible reason to go there other than I had the day off of work.  My Fabric Mart purchase was my gateway drug.  Once I did it more purchases were sure to follow.  Anyways, what I got is 2 yards green quilting cotton with floral print and 3 yards black gingham.  The green floral is going to be for a Sorbetto Sew Along that Sara from The Pretty Pickle will be hosting later on this month.  I have had this pattern printed for a year now and have never tried it despite all the lovely versions on the blogsphere.  So, I decided this is the perfect time to do so and be able to wear it for MMM.  The gingham is going to be for a new dress shirt for Eric.  I really want to see him in a gingham dress shirt since they are on trend right now.

  1. yay! I'm using the sew-along as an excuse to buy new fabric too. :)
